PineApple Tart

last sunday i have done my 1st pineapple tart....Result not bad although is a bit dry as per my brother comment... but still, not left much... only left 1 and 1/2 tin for my family.


before bake...doing the tart shape.... c i make some big some small...haha....not standard...1st time is like tat geh lar....dun mind lar....hehe....


'Ta Ta...' the results after bake....

so here the recipe of the pineapple tart:-

Ingredients
170gm Margarine
50gm Shortening
80gm Caster Sugar
2 Egg
1/2tsp Salt

180gm White Fine Flour
200gm Self-Raising Flour
30gm Corn Flour

1. Sift the White Fine Flour, Self-Raising Flour and Corn Flour together. Make sure they are well mixed.
2. Put margarine, shortening and caster sugar together in mixer and beat, then add in egg in a time and salt and beat until sugar is just dissolved.
3. Add it into the Flour and mix until dough holds together.
4. Roll out dough to about 0.5cm thickness. Press out dough with tart or cookie cutter cutter and put generous mound of pineapple filling in centre.
5. Glaze with egg yolk and bake for about 3-4 minutes.

simple and easy...let try together....

only 3-4mins during baking??
can use microwave/oven also right?

oo i use those UFO oven so i need to preheat the oven 1st before bake. so when i put the tart to bake only need 3-4 min then is ok ady.
but for your case if use microwave/oven(normal one lar) should need 15-20 min, if not mistaken.
u try try and c...when the tart turn a bit brown brown color mean ok ady lor...dun bake too long if not it will be a bit dry when eat.
