Colmar Tropicale & Japanese Tea Garden @ Bukit Tinggi

As my previous post say that my fren has organize a friendship trip to Bukit Tinggi. So here is it... Initially state to depart on 8am and gather on 7am, but one of the fren wake up late so gather on 7.30am. Off we take breakfast and start depart from Ipoh on 8.45am.....well we have another 2 frens staying at KL so they do not need to depart so early... So we have to go thru Gohtong Jaya(near Genting there) to the Karak Highway before reach the Bukit Tinggi.... We have a stop at Gohtong Jaya, to have a walk at the newly open farm called "Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm". i will post more on this later. stick back to our friendship trip, we reach Bukit Tinggi around 11.45am...There are entrance fees of RM12/adult to the Colmar Tropicale(French Village) & Japanese Tea Garden. Start our journey at Calmar Tropicale, have a walk around n snapping of picture of course.

In order to reach the Japanese Garden, we have to walk all the way up to the hill...wat a day~~

Reach the Garden at last....there some event can be done there, either join in the Tea Ceremony or try on their Kimono & take picture...the Tea Ceremony will cost RM25/person, and the Kimono rented is RM20/per pcs...quite expensive too...but since ady there, y not try it out. So me n one of my fren try the Kimono n take picture of course...haha~~~

Finish visiting the Colmar Tropicale & Japanese Tea Garden around 5pm....off we depart back to our hotel....before that we stop by our fren aunty house, so she can fetch her cat....her aunty raise 5 cats n 2 dogs in the house...wat cat lover~~~

oh ya before we check in our hotel, we have our dinner at Bee Won(Korean BBQ Restaurant) @ Jalan Ampang....i think the post is too long ady, so i post it on the next post then....
the food there quite nice and it is famous on the Korean BBQ style~~ yummy....

Cupcakes Gift

My frens has make the effort to organize a friendship trip, so i take tis opportunity to make some cupcakes for them...since they never try my cupcakes before. it take me some time to think wat flavour to make....got ask their opinion, but one of them feedback durian cupcakes!!!
actually i do have durian flavour recipe but i dun dare to make it, scare later no one wan to eat....so at last i make up my mind to make Green Tea Walnuts n Orange Flavour....

Orange Desire Cupcakes
Recipe for the Orange :-
Ingredient:
A: 110g butter
80g icing sugar
2 eggs grade-B(beaten)
B: 130g self-raising flour
1 fresh orange zest(grated)
1 tsp orange essence(i didn't put this n put 1tsp fresh orange juice)
C: some walnuts(toasted, crushed) - for topping

Material : 8pcs paper cup

Method:
1. Beat butter and sugar of ingredient (A) until smooth. Add eggs in slowly.
2. Mix in ingredient (B). Spoon into paper cups three-quarters of the way up. Arrange on a baking tray. Scatter ingredient (C) on top.
3. Bake no.(2) in a preheated oven at 150C for 15-20 minutes. Transfer to cooling racks.


Green Tea Walnut Cupcakes
Recipe for Green Tea:-
Ingredient:
A: 90g butter
100g icing sugar
2 eggs grade-B(beaten)
B: 120g self-raising flour
2 tsps green tea powder
2 tbsps fresh whipping cream
C: 50g walnuts(toasted, crushed)
D: Some walnuts(toasted)

Material: 9pcs paper cups

Method:
1. Beat butter and sugar of ingredient (A) until smooth. Add eggs in a slow stream. Fold in ingredient (B), mix well.
2. Add in ingredient (C), mix well. Spoon into paper cups three quarters of the way up. Sprinkle ingredient (D) on top.
3. Arrange no. (2) on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 150C for 15-20 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

Bought the cupcake boxes from the bakery shop, cost RM1.70 per box.....tie with some ribbon for sure will make it more nicer but i didn't do tat....maybe next time...hehe~~~

Claypot Crab Glass Noodle

Today i'm going to introduce the Claypot Crab Glass Noodle @ Kedai Makanan Rasa Lain, Bercham. this shop is a well-known shop of the famous Claypot Crab Glass Noodle.
Actually we are having a farewell for our fren, Jacky... he going to Vietnam to work so dunno when he be coming back....oo~~~ going to miss him so much....
So here's the food....

3 of us is having the meal, the Crab cost RM44, the fish cost RM46 and the vege RM7, so total bill for the meal is RM97....
actually tis meal can be eaten by 4 ppl instead of 3...so we actually is very very full after we finish all of it.... *Full*

Lastly, i would to wish Good Luck and Better Future for my fren, Jacky.....
to jacky: i heard there got alot of rich girl, so try find one over there so u do not need to work anymore, wakaka~~~

ICity @ Shah Alam

When to ICity with my Uni-mate, Hayley over the weekend. Hayley drive all the way from Taiping to Ipoh fetch me then proceed to KL. We stay at her SIL house at Damasara Area...
Off we when to ICity at the nite....very beautiful LED lighting display...n of course crowded with people like us....wakaka~~~

Choc Walnut Cupcakes

Since i blog back my previous Choc Hazelnuts Cupcakes recipe last few days, i make another one with the same recipe. But this time, i change the choc chips to choc rices and walnuts....
So i called it 'Chocolate Walnut Cupcakes'....sprinkle some choc rice n walnut on top of the cupcakes too~~

Chocolate Hazelnuts Cupcakes Recipe

Previously i have blog about this Chocolate Hazelnuts Cupcakes at here, but i did not include the recipe. Someone request the recipe from me so here is it....

Chocolate Hazelnuts Cupcakes



Ingredients:
A : 125g Butter
100g Brown Sugar
2 eggs grade-B(beaten)
B: 130g Plain Flour
1tsp baking powder
1tbsp chocolate powder
50g hazelnut powder
C: 60g Chocolate Chips

Material needed:
10pcs paper cups (3" X 1.1")
10pcs moulds

Method:
1. Beat butter and sugar of ingredient (A) until smooth. Add eggs in a slow release. Next, mix in ingredient (B).
2. Add in ingredient (C), mix well. Spoon into paper cups three-quarters of the way up, then fit into moulds. Arrange on a baking tray.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 150C for 20-25 minutes. Cool cakes.

Simple as ABC~~~

New Mixer!!! + Steamed Banana Cake

I have my new mixer deliver to my door yesterday ~~~
I bought it? Nope.... Someone present to me? eii...Nope~~
So where do i get my new mixer then??? haha~~~
Actually is a Gift Redemption from the Bonuslink.... it is so kind of my father tat use the bonuslink points to redeem the mixer for me to use....haha~~~ he see me always use the hand mixer until my hand also pain holding it, so he make up his mind to redeem tis for me...hehe~~ aww~~~so kind of my dad...love u Dad!!

This is my old mixer, is the kind tat without the stand.

This the New Mixer with the Stand kind....

So i have make an opening for the New Mixer by making one of my dad favourite cake 'Banana Cake'..... i make the Steamed kind one called 'Steamed Banana Cake'. Below is the recipe....




Steamed Banana Cake
Ingredients:
(A) 3 eggs
160g Sugar
(B) 250g Banana
1/4tsp salt
(C) 50g Milk
(D) 240g Flour
2tsps Double Action Baking Powder
1/2tsp baking soda
(E) 90g Corn Oil
(F)180g Sultanas

Method:
1. Whip A until thick. Mash B, add it into A, whip until thick.
2. Add in C, mix until well-blended. Add in D, mix until well-combined.
3.Add in E, mix until well-incorporated. Add in F, mix until well-blended.
4. Pour it into greased and floured cup cake mould/normal cake mould.
5. Steam for 20 minutes / until well done.

Tips:
The cake will taste better by using very ripe banana.

The cake taste very banana, yummy~~~~
U all can try it out, is really yummy!!
